Bookings

Our photography experiences are from Fridays to Mondays (Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Monday). Other days can be arranged by special request. Photographers choose six species to photograph, from our available species, with a total duration of approximtaly 4,5 hours. This allows for ample time to photograph each species thoroughly. We don't clock watch so if you need a little longer we're happy to accomodate you. 

We start the morning with the animals housed in enclosures like the red fox, badger, wild cats, barn owl and polecat, making the most of the morning light. We then move to the lower site for the pine marten, sika deer and lynx, before moving to our daylight studio where you're able to photograph the harvest mice, water shrew, hedgehog and water vole. This means we maximise the on location natural light ending up in the daylight studio once the sun is high.

Please note that our species are subject to availability, our animals are wild animals. During summer our standard hours are 08:00 - 12:30. Earlier or later start times can be arranged by special request. We understand sweet light and are happy to start as early as you need us to. Afternoon/evening sessions are available by special request.

Our bookings work on a first booked basis enabling you to choose the package and date that works for you. Payment is required on booking in order to secure your booking. Please use the relevant link above to make payment and contact us with the date, number of photographers and animals you would like to photograph.

We can accommodate a maximum of 8 photographers per group. The day will be structured by your handler and animals will be chosen depending on group size and animal availability. Some animals are not available to groups due to their enclosure layout and shy nature, including Pine Marten and Stoat. Please contact us for more info about our Camera Club deals on offer.

Tuition with a local professional photographer Chris Robbins can be arranged for an additional £100 per session.

Natures Photos (Bob Brind-Surch) - "Secret British Mammals". A two day workshop, staying at local farmhouse accommodation.

Jessops Academy Course "British Wildlife Experience". A one day course led by a Jessops Academy Trainer.

Nature with Nick (Nick Withers) - "Wildlife Photography Tuition and Guiding". Full and half day courses offered.

Wild Aperture Tours (Tracey Lund) - "Devon Mammals" . A two day workshop led by Tracey Lund.
